GRD is an Algerian-French joint venture: 65% owned by the Algerian Labelle Group / 35% held by the French group Cristal-Union. Its construction began in 2011, under the supervision of Cristal Union, which brings its expertise on the project.
The GRD refinery, in commercial production since March 1, 2016, produces 1000 T / day of refined sugar from imports of Brazilian brown sugar.

As part of this project, GRD labelle entrusted Domea with a support mission during commissioning, and operation of the plant for activities related to utilities, maintenance and extension works of the factory.

  • Commissioning assistance
  • Recruitment assistance, training, organization, setting up procedures, setting up and supporting supervision staff

Support to the maintenance department

  • For electrical service: assistance in recruiting, training, organizing, setting up and supporting supervisory staff.
  • Organization of the interventions of companies, follow-up of technical shutdowns
  • Implementation of maintenance contracts with specialized companies

Projects of extensions of the factory, new workshops, adaptations

  • Local coordination of companies and suppliers
  • Monitoring works on site
  • Interface with the engineering office in charge of projects based in France
